Conference Etiquette!

Please keep your mic muted at all times unless you are called upon to speak after the meeting is started.

All items are a toggle. You can click on them and click again to start and stop.




 Helpful Hints   During Meeting 

  Mute Microphone. Unmute when you want to speak. Cuts down ambient feedback and noise. Look at the camera when you speak so the audience feels like you’re talking directly to them. Directing eye contact into the camera while speaking gives attendees the impression that you are looking at them rather than off to the side, which creates an environment where everyone feels engaged and present in the conversation.

  When you “Stop Video” your webcam is turned off and your name only will appear. If you have uploaded a profile photo, your photo will appear.

The next to the icons allows for additional menu options.

  Allows you to see all conference participants. You can have the window remain constant or “pop out” so you can size it and move the window to your preference.

Click “More” next to your name to “Rename” or “Add Profile Picture”

  You can only chat with your Hosts during the Meeting.

If you do not have your chat window expanded, a notification will display in your toolbar.

   
Guests can ask questions by using the "Raise Hand" feature.  The host will see guests in the order in which they raise their hand.

If a vote is taken, all guests can select "yes" or "no" and the vote immediately tallies for the host.

  If you need technical assistance during the meeting, send a message to your designated co-host.

    Choose “Speaker View” or “Gallery View” at your preference. You can toggle back and forth.

  Gallery View – provides a thumbnail of all participants; however, you may have to scroll between pages depending on the size of your screen and the number of participants.



  Speaker view – provides a large screen with the vocal speaker and smaller icons of the other conference participants.


“Leave Meeting” to exit the conference.
