Updated 07/02/24 @ 12:00 PM (PDT) / 3:00 PM (EDT): If you are RSVP'ing to attend this virtual event, you must first click the link below to complete a registration form and be approved by Guild staff in order to generate your member-specific Zoom link for the Town Hall Meeting. Please follow the instructions below.
VIRTUAL ATTENDEE INSTRUCTIONS:
- Click THIS LINK to complete your registration and click “Register” to submit the form. At this time you will see a “pending approval” screen.
- Once Guild staff receives your registration, we will verify you as an active member and approve your registration. This will prompt Zoom to send you an email containing your member specific Zoom link. Guild staff will be approving new registrations as they are received. This is a manual process, so please give at least 1 hour for your links to be sent.
- Once approved you will receive an email with the subject line “MPEG Town Hall Meeting 07/02 - Access Info & Rules” at the email address you entered in your registration. This email will contain meeting rules and your access links.
If you RSVP'd prior to 12:00 PM (PDT) on 07/02, then you should already have received your link via email. Contact TownHall@EditorsGuild.com if further assistance is needed.
NATIONWIDE TOWN HALL
Come together to learn about and discuss the tentative agreement!

At these meetings, there will be a review of the tentatively agreed upon points for both our Local 700 and the full Basic Agreements, as well as information about the ratification election process. A presentation by National Executive Director Cathy Repola will be followed by questions and discussion from members in attendance.
The Guild strongly encourages each member to make time in their schedule to attend one of these meetings so that each member is fully engaged in the collective business of our union.
Please sign up for only one meeting so that we may maximize all members’ opportunities to participate!
